Are you looking for new challenges and enjoy finding innovative solutions to tricky problems? We are now looking for more Mechanical Engineers who want to become part of our growing operations in Västerås.

As a consultant within our dynamic business area for product development, you will have a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of tomorrow's products and solutions for some of Sweden's most outstanding and exciting companies.

As a Mechanical Engineer, there is great variation in the nature of the assignments. In some assignments, you are involved in project development from start to finish. In other assignments, you strengthen the customer's competence in specific areas or work with product maintenance. The assignments vary over time, and we perform work both on-site at the customer's location and in our own facilities. You will be based out of AFRY's office in Västerås and/or the customer's premises.

Qualifications

Your background:

• You have an engineering degree in, for example, mechanics.
• At least 5 years of experience in product development or mechanical design.
• You have excellent knowledge of CAD tools such as Siemens NX, SolidWorks, or Creo.
• Experience working in PLM systems and habit of working systematically with product data.
• Experience in calculation and dimensioning as well as working with product maintenance.
• Good command of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).
