As the company expands, we now need to expand the team with one more production engineer focusing on development and process. You will work in close collaboration with our existing production engineer but will lead your own development projects. The position is located in Kungsör.

Responsibilities

Your tasks

In this role, you are expected to work independently and act as a project manager for your own improvement projects. Among other things, you will:

• Drive process development within both machining and assembly. In our machine fleet (consisting of about 20 machines for machining, including special transfer machines), you work with continuous improvements to increase flexibility. For the assembly process, your focus is on efficiency, automation, and increasing production capacity.
• Optimize manufacturing flows, reduce setup times, and eliminate bottlenecks.
• Prepare and launch new articles into production.
• Work closely with the production team to solve technical challenges that arise in daily production together with the operators.
• Contribute theoretical knowledge and insights to develop our own operations.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with

• Relevant technical education.
• Experience in production engineering work within machining and assembly from a mechanical workshop or manufacturing industry.
• Understanding of flow and process documentation.
• Experience in improvement work.
• Good familiarity with modern IT systems; experience with the business system Monitor is considered an advantage.
• Knowledge in CNC programming, CAM preparation, or CAD tools is seen as a big plus but is not a requirement.
• Good knowledge of English and Swedish is required, and if you also speak German, it is a big plus.
