As a Technical Property Manager, you will have a role that offers great variety in your daily work with many contact points and interesting tasks. With a focus on high service levels, we work together to develop the management of the city's properties.

Your responsibilities

In this role, you will work with technical property management at the Educational Premises department. The department manages the city's preschools, schools, and upper secondary schools.

You work on behalf of our property managers who need specialist support in the technical issues that arise regarding the properties. This can, for example, involve control and regulation technology, plumbing, heating, and ventilation (HVAC). You are the expert in all technical matters concerning operation, optimization, and maintenance, and you are often on-site with the operation contractor, supporting the implementation of tasks. You follow up and ensure the quality of work, are involved in business planning, renovations, and tenant adaptations. In this role, you have official authority and carefully ensure that laws and routines within your assignment are followed.

As a Technical Property Manager, you have many contact and collaboration areas, both with colleagues in the city in different functions, but also with external property owners, operation contractors, and tenants. For you, this interaction is motivating, and you are good at communicating and listening.

Your qualifications

We are looking for you who have education in a relevant field or working life experience considered equivalent. You have knowledge of property operation, property technical installations, and operation optimization systems, as well as good computer skills. Experience with property systems is seen as a plus.

You are service-oriented and thrive in customer contacts where you build and develop good relationships. As a person, you work in a structured manner, have a good ability to prioritize, and look at the big picture to create long-term sustainable solutions.

Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, a B-driver's license, and the ability to provide a certificate of good conduct are required for the position. Experience as a Technical Property Manager or similar role is meritorious.
