You will work with the installation and replacement of district heating and cooling distribution systems in all stages, with a focus on design and construction. This includes site visits, handling of inquiries, pipe design, strength calculations, and coordination. This means varied days involving both office work, some field work, and meetings with clients and contractors. In your role, you will lead yourself and others as a project leader in projects of varying complexity, depending on your previous experience.

At our headquarters in Västerås, approximately 60 people work in different parts of the energy sector. In addition to the distribution department, we have energy consultants within production, industry, and electricity & automation.
Your profileAre you an experienced designer or constructor within district heating, district cooling, or water and wastewater who wants to take the next step in a technology-oriented and socially important role? At FVB, you will use your competence in varied assignments, close to both colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders. We believe you will thrive when you get to combine independent responsibility with good collaboration, practical solutions, and the opportunity to contribute to both project results and group development. You are curious, interested in technology, and solution-oriented, and have the ability to drive several projects in parallel with structure and engagement.
We prefer that you have a university degree in engineering or a corresponding higher education degree, or alternatively, other relevant education or work experience that we assess as equivalent.
You express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, and have good knowledge of English. Since travel is part of the role, a B-driving license is required.
Employment type and recruitment processThe position is a permanent full-time employment. The ambition is to fill the position during autumn 2026. Location: Västerås. Work psychological tests and background checks will be part of the selection process.
