About the role

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will work broadly with qualified engineering tasks within mechanical engineering. You are expected to apply standardized engineering principles to independently achieve set goals. You will have many points of contact as the role involves extensive collaboration both internally and externally.

What we offer

This is a consultancy assignment via Academic Work, meaning you will be employed by us but work as a consultant at our client's site. Possibility of remote work.

Responsibilities

Your main tasks include:

  • Planning, designing, and modifying machines, equipment, and products.
  • Conducting complex analyses and advanced technical studies.
  • Using computers and specific software to perform analyses, as well as compiling reports and technical recommendations.
  • Coordinating activities internally and collaborating with other technical areas/departments to efficiently achieve project goals.
  • Ensuring that recommendations and solutions are based on good engineering practice, business considerations, as well as current laws and regulatory requirements.

We are looking for you who

  • Have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or another relevant field.
  • Have at least three years of work experience in a role as a Mechanical Engineer or other relevant experience.
  • Are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.
  • Are fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  • Have experience with SolidWorks or similar software.

It is meritorious if you have

  • At least two years of work experience in project management, team leadership, or other relevant experience.
