Your Role

As an Electronics Engineer at Test Development, you will work on the development of advanced electromechanical systems – from concept to finished product. You will be involved in design, testing, verification, and in some cases, programming of electronics, in close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.

The role requires a good holistic understanding of both hardware and software. You have experience working with schematics, signal and integrity analysis, as well as simulation of mixed analog and digital electronics.

As an Electronics Engineer with us, you will among other things:

• Create assembly and detailed designs such as cabling, drawings, and circuit boards based on requirements specifications.
• Read, interpret, and work from technical documentation.
• Use, develop, and improve measurement technology to ensure product quality and performance.
• Perform testing, verification, and troubleshooting of instrument and electronic products.
• Participate in the various phases of product development – from concept to finished solution.

The role may involve travel, both within Sweden and internationally. The position is based at our office and is primarily on-site.

Your Profile

To thrive with us, we believe you are a curious, communicative, and unpretentious problem solver with good collaboration skills. You are a university or civil engineer in electronics, or have equivalent relevant work experience in the field.

We would like you to have experience and knowledge in:

• Electronics.
• Analog and digital measurement technology.
• Testing, component, and measurement technology.

Qualifications that are meritorious:

• Testing competence within electrical and electromechanical products (air, component, and instrument knowledge).
• Experience in testing and test programming.
• Hardware-near programming, for example in C++.

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to current security clearance regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
