Do you want to be the link between operations and IT, and develop the digital systems that create the prerequisites for efficient maintenance? We are now looking for a Administration and Development Manager with a focus on our maintenance systems.

The sustainable transition starts with us

We are facing our biggest challenge so far – ensuring that Sweden and Europe have what is needed to transition. So that we can live the life we want, now and tomorrow. Just as we want to improve the future, we want to develop everyone who is with us on the journey, both personally and professionally. Do you want to be part of laying the foundation for the life we live and the world around us?

Your role

Strategic maintenance is a section within Development with a clear mission – to develop and improve working methods within operational safety and maintenance. As a business support for our production operations, we work to create common working methods, efficient processes, and the right system support that contribute to safe, efficient, and sustainable production. We are now looking for more colleagues who want to help drive this development forward.

As the Administration and Development Manager, you are responsible for developing and administering our maintenance systems based on the needs of the business. You act as the link between operations and IT and ensure that system support is developed in a structured and long-term manner.

You lead and coordinate the development of our maintenance systems together with operations and IT. The role is about creating structure, prioritizing development needs, and ensuring that our digital tools provide the greatest possible business benefit.

Your main tasks include:

  • prioritizing and making decisions on cases and improvement proposals from operations
  • leading and coordinating administration and development work related to IFS
  • ensuring that business needs are translated into functioning solutions in collaboration with IT
  • monitoring compliance with established processes and initiating improvement measures
  • acting as a clear and natural communication channel between IT and operations

The role is both strategic and operational, giving you the opportunity to influence how working methods and system support are developed to contribute to safe, efficient, and sustainable production.

What you bring with you

We are looking for someone who thrives in a role with significant responsibility and many contact points. You are confident in making decisions, have a structured approach to work, and the ability to analyze complex issues. You build trusting relationships, enjoy collaborating across organizational boundaries, and drive work forward even when conditions change.

Requirements for the position:

  • Technical education, preferably an engineering degree in maintenance, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or automation, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in maintenance and improvement work within heavy industry
  • Good system understanding and experience working with digital tools, such as maintenance systems
  • Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • A Category B driver's license is required for all positions at LKAB

Meritorious qualifications:

  • knowledge of maintenance processes and operational safety work
