About the Department
Department 134 is a highly specialized care unit within Rehabilitation Medicine, focusing on spinal cord injuries. The department has ten care beds and provides both advanced care and rehabilitation for patients who have suffered disease or injury to the spinal cord.
We work in a person-centered manner, setting goals together with the patient in an interprofessional team. As an employee, you have the opportunity to follow the patient from the acute phase through the entire rehabilitation process. The average length of stay is approximately three months, which provides good continuity in care. The work environment is characterized by openness, collaboration, and continuous learning. On the department, nursing assistants and nurses work in close collaboration with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, social workers, and a sexologist with specialist competence. The department is located in premises with a view of the Botanical Garden. We value reflection, participation, and community in our daily work.
