Mimers Hus Gymnasium is a modern and attractive school located in central Kungälv, close to bus connections and Kongahälla Centre. The school has approximately 1,600 students distributed across university-preparatory and vocational preparatory programs, as well as individual programs.

Responsibilities

You, your school nurse colleagues, and other student health personnel are part of the school's consolidated student health service under one manager. Together, you work to develop and implement a health-promoting and preventive student health effort. Therefore, it is important that you have a genuine interest in developing the school nurse role in this direction.

You work in one or more of the school's student health teams, and together with other staff, you work towards a safe school environment for our students that promotes health and learning, with the aim of achieving the goals set in the school. As a school nurse, you will collaborate with guardians as well as other operations and authorities within and outside the municipality.

In addition to the health-promoting and preventive work, the school nurse's duties include planning and conducting the basic program with health conversations and vaccinations for the students at the school, as well as performing simpler medical care interventions. The role also involves documentation in Prorenata, the digital documentation tool for student health.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with adequate further education as a school nurse, in primary healthcare, or in healthcare for children and adolescents.
