NU Hospital is part of the Region of Västra Götaland and is one of Sweden's larger county hospitals. We are located at NÄL (Norra Älvsborg County Hospital) in Trollhättan and Uddevalla Hospital. About Us

The Operating Department at NÄL is one of three units within the AnOpIVA Clinic. The others are the operating department at Uddevalla Hospital and the intensive care unit at NÄL. We facilitate surgeries and treatments primarily within surgery, orthopedics, gynecology/obstetrics, and ENT. The operations run 24 hours a day, with an approximate split of 50% elective and 50% acute cases. We offer many colleagues, and our facilities are state-of-the-art with the latest technology and equipment. Working hours are adapted to the business needs with individual schedules.

About You

As an Operating Room Nurse, you are a key player in the surgical team alongside the surgeon, anesthesia nurse, assistant nurse, and anesthesiologist. Your focus is on good nursing care and high patient safety for the patient you are currently caring for, as well as a conscious flow focus where you, together with the team, have a plan for upcoming patients.

You enjoy working at a varied pace where challenging and demanding situations are a natural part of the job.
