Welcome to Närhälsan Tanumshede Rehabilitation Clinic!

Here, two occupational therapists and five physiotherapists/chiropractors work. At our clinic, you have good opportunities to influence your daily work, and it is important to us to maintain a good working environment where we thrive and care for each other. Here you will find individual treatment rooms as well as a training hall where we constantly review equipment and treatment machines.

Tanum is the municipality in northern Bohuslän where you can find both coastal communities and deep forests. Here there are good conditions for an active leisure time with sports and outdoor life. About the Job

Your tasks are to assess and treat patients of all ages. Common conditions among patients you encounter as an occupational therapist include: reduced hand function, pain, neurology, cognitive impairment, and mental ill health. The work also includes prescribing assistive devices and certificates for housing adaptations. Together with the patient, a personal rehabilitation plan is created.

The work is located at the clinic, digitally, and via home visits. Patient treatment takes place both individually and in groups.

The work involves close collaboration with other professions, both at our own clinic and with other partners. You and your colleagues, together with the manager, are responsible for the development of the operations in a continuous improvement process.

About You

You are a licensed occupational therapist. If you have previous experience in the profession and primary care, it is an advantage, but we also welcome newly graduated candidates. At our clinic, you are welcome to be new, and you will have an occupational therapist colleague as a mentor.

We are looking for someone who is sensitive, has good communication skills, and can identify individuals' unique needs as you meet many different people. Furthermore, you see collaboration with colleagues and other partners as a natural and important part of the work, which you perform with enthusiasm and professionalism. You can plan your work in an efficient and organized manner based on the operations' goals. Since the workload varies and unforeseen events may occur, we see that you are flexible and independent.

  • The position is a temporary vacancy planned to start on September 1st and will last for one year.
  • Travel during work occurs. A driving license is required.

About the Recruitment Process

Selection takes place in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who call candidates for a telephone interview. Thereafter, the hiring manager makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them to an interview at the clinic.

We use competency-based interviews, which means that answers to questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalized answers – this is so that we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the result was.
