Job Description
As a casual staff member (timvikarie), you replace permanent staff during absences. Your working hours may vary according to the needs of the operations and are often determined with short notice. Since the workplace and tasks are varied, it is important that you are flexible and enjoy seeing and learning new ways of working.
What is common to both disability services and elderly care is that you work with people. You meet them in their daily lives and ensure that each person's need for care and support is met.
In Elderly Care: You work within home help services or in a care and housing facility. If you work in home help, the job involves a lot of independent work, and all tasks are performed in the care recipient's home environment. If you work in a care and housing facility, you collaborate with colleagues on a ward. Common to both areas is that you support care recipients in their daily hygiene, personal care, meal support, mobility, social interaction, and encourage activity.
In Disability Services: You work with people of all ages; the common denominator is that they have some form of disability. Central to the work is that you provide support, service, and care. You can work as a support assistant, personal assistant, or supported housing staff.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in working with people, where you are secure, relationship-building, and sensitive to others' needs and wishes in your role. You have an independent and flexible work style while appreciating varying working hours between days, evenings, and weekends.
To succeed in the job, you need good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, as well as good skills in documentation and computer use. A Category B driver's license is required for work within home help services.
We use continuous recruitment, so do not wait with your application!
To work in our operations, you must provide a valid police certificate (background check). You can order the certificate on the police website, both digitally and via paper form.
Employment type: Fixed-term employment (casual shifts).
Duration: Start date according to agreement.
