We at Attendo Stationsgatan in Ytterby are now looking for assistant nurses who are interested in permanent employment or working as hourly substitutes. We are a special residential facility with 54 customers spread over 3 floors. 2 floors with people with dementia and one floor with somatic care. The facility is a stone's throw from the train station with good connections to Gothenburg.

About the role

As an assistant nurse with us, you play a crucial role in creating a safe and stimulating environment for our customers. You are responsible for providing good care and support to our customers. Creating a positive and social atmosphere during meals is a large part of your role, as well as being able to contribute with various activities that brighten up the everyday life of our elderly.

Your responsibilities include among other things:

• Personal care according to the company's routines, based on the customer's individual needs and wishes.
• Help with preparing, cooking, and serving meals, cleaning, laundry, etc., as needed.
• Perform documentation and work based on decided interventions.
• Collaborate with external and internal contacts such as guardians, relatives, residents, nurses, and rehabilitation staff.

Qualifications

• Assistant nurse education of at least 1350 credits.
• Professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate from current/former employer regarding permanent employment as an assistant nurse.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language (spoken and written).
• Good computer skills/computer literacy.

Merits:

Summary

Role: Assistant Nurse

Employment type: 6-month probationary period thereafter permanent. Hourly substitute.

Working hours: Daytime, evenings, and weekends.
