Your responsibilities
As an assembler at Saab, you will become a key person in the production of advanced missile systems. You will work in a modern and varied production environment, with the opportunity to work with both electronic and mechanical components.
The tasks may include:
- Assembly of electronic components and circuit boards, as well as final assembly of subsystems
- Manufacturing, installation, and testing of cabling
- Soldering and joining of electronic and mechanical components
- Assembly and adjustment of fine and coarse mechanical components
- Testing, troubleshooting, and quality control of finished units
- Participation in improvement work and contribution to efficient and high-quality production
Your profile
We are looking for you with a technical interest and who thrives in practical work where a large focus is placed on quality and precision.
Furthermore, we would like you to have:
- A high school education, preferably in electronics or equivalent, along with relevant practical experience
- Knowledge of reading drawings; experience with electronic drawings is a plus
- Experience or interest in assembly and cable manufacturing; soldering skills are a plus
- Good computer skills
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
To succeed in the role, we see that you are responsible, proactive, and flexible. You have good teamwork skills and enjoy working in a team.
The position requires that you undergo and pass the security clearance assessment according to current regulations. For positions where Saab requires security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
Application process This is a consultancy assignment initially for 6 months, with the possibility of extension or direct employment with the client after a period of hiring.
