At Södra Wood, we transform our members' forest raw materials into timber products sold worldwide.

We are currently looking for new operators for our sawmill in Kisa. Do you want to work in a production environment where safety, collaboration, and development are in focus? Then this might be the job for you!

As a sawmill operator, you will become an important part of the production and work to ensure a stable and efficient flow in the operations. The role is varied and combines process monitoring with practical work on-site.

Your tasks may include among other things:

• monitoring and controlling parts of the production process

• operating forklifts, wheel loaders, or other machinery

• handling material flows and raw materials

• resolving minor operational disruptions

• performing basic maintenance and care of equipment

• contributing to order and cleanliness at the facility

• collaborating with colleagues to ensure safe and efficient production

The work is both independent and team-based, and you will have the opportunity to develop within several areas of the business.

We are looking for both permanent and temporary staff, on a full-time basis with a location in Kisa. Working hours are arranged in a 2-shift system, where you work every other week mornings and every other week afternoons/evenings.

We are looking for you who thrive in a practical and varied role where you take responsibility and work close to production. You have an interest in technology, machinery, and industrial processes and enjoy working in a solution-oriented manner. Furthermore, you have completed upper secondary education and hold a B-driver's license.

The following are meritorious (not requirements):

• experience in the sawmill industry/other industrial or production operations

• experience with LEAN

• crane operator training

• chainsaw training

• experience with machine operation, such as wheel loaders or forklifts

• good computer skills

• experience with shift work
