Your Role

As a Screen Machine Operator, you will become an important part of Aeronautics' production organization within the area of assembly and composites. Here, advanced composite products are manufactured for, among other things, the Gripen, Beyond Gravity, and other projects, from raw materials to finished articles or complete assemblies. In total, approximately 350 people work in this area.

In this role, you will work together with your team on inventory management, preparing, cutting, and picking layers for composite articles for further processing. The team is responsible for quality, delivery security, and efficiency in the manufacturing process and works according to Saab's Lean principles. Together, you are also driving the daily improvement work.

The work requires close, non-hierarchical collaboration with both nearby departments and support functions. You will be a vital cog in a technology-intensive and precise production flow where details make a difference.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are positive, meticulous, and responsible - a team player who is also self-sufficient when needed. You have an eye for detail and a sense for quality, and you take on new tasks with engagement and flexibility.

Since the work is practical, it is required that you enjoy working with your hands and have an interest in technology and manufacturing. A workshop background is meritorious. You also need to have good computer skills and be able to communicate well in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to current regulations for security clearance. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.

Working hours are during the day, and the location is Tannefors, Linköping.
