Your Responsibilities
We are looking for you who have experience in cutting processing and want a varied role where you get to work with several different machines and manufacturing processes. The role focuses primarily on punching and milling, but also includes cutting, bending, and other processing, especially in sheet metal.
In production, you will work with our HAAS milling machines as well as our modern KIMLA milling table. You use CAD/CAM software to create tool paths and ensure efficient and high-quality processing.
In addition to milling, you will gradually learn to work with our punching machines, where experience in reading drawings, tool handling, and machine settings is valuable. Depending on your background, you may also work with grinding and other common tasks in the workshop.
You are responsible for the entire process from work order and drawing to finished part. The work involves programming, machine operation, quality control, and documentation according to our procedures.
At SMF Skylt, you will have a broad and varied role in a smaller organization where you have the opportunity to develop within several different production areas and become an important part of the business.
Your Profile
We believe that you currently work in manufacturing industry and have experience with CNC milling or other cutting processing. You thrive in a practical and varied role where you take responsibility for the entire process and contribute your technical competence.
You have good tool skills, can read and understand technical drawings, and preferably have experience with CAD/CAM programming. If you have previously worked with HAAS machines, punching machines, or sheet metal processing, it is an advantage, but not a requirement.
As a person, you are self-motivated, meticulous, and responsible. You have a broad technical interest, enjoy solving problems, and want to understand the whole manufacturing process. You thrive in a smaller organization where people help each other and where tasks can vary between different machines and processes.

- Can read and understand technical drawings
- Have experience with or interest in CAD/CAM programming
