We are looking for you who want to take a central role in developing and strengthening our business within the division. This is a role for you who want to combine strategy with relationship building and operational work close to the business in early stages where our projects are just taking shape. As a Business Developer, you work on identifying the right projects and creating conditions for good business. You are close to the market and create a good picture of which projects lie ahead. Most of your time is spent on market and customer processing, contributing to the division's portfolio and sales goals. You build long-term relationships, meet clients, and participate in early dialogues, often together with Production or Project Managers who later become representatives in the business and during our production phase. In this role, you report to the Head of Marketing and Business, with whom you also have close collaboration. About Building Norrland We build and renovate both commercial and public buildings as well as residences across Norrland, from Sundsvall in the south to Luleå in the north. The division consists of approximately 200 dedicated employees, both white-collar and blue-collar workers, who together drive projects forward with a focus on sustainable and long-term solutions. Your profile To thrive and succeed in the role, you have good knowledge of the construction process, where you master the basics of contract and business law and are comfortable in bidding and negotiation contexts. We are looking for you who are a relationship-building and business-driven person with a solid understanding of the market, customers, and sales, which enables you to assess project opportunities and analyze market development. We want you to have a relevant post-secondary education combined with many years of experience from the industry. As a person, you are structured and confident in your competence. You have a feel for business and can prioritize the right customers and the right projects. You are resilient and have a good ability to work long-term with relationships, profitability, and market development. You also have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both in speech and writing. Additional information The position is a permanent employment starting as agreed. You are based at one of our offices in Sundsvall, Östersund, Örnsköldsvik, or Umeå. Travel is included in the role, and a B-driver's license is required. This position undergoes background checks in accordance with NCC's safety culture.
