What does the role offer?

This is a broad, hands-on role with a clear commercial focus. You will work with Far East sourcing, Private Label, supplier development, product development, and range development within Mshop's own brands.

The role is not just about purchasing products. It is about identifying new business opportunities, understanding market trends, analyzing customer needs and sales data, and driving forward products and supplier solutions that strengthen Mshop's Private Label range and profitability.

You will work closely with the Head of Procurement & Supply Chain and collaborate cross-functionally with e-commerce, marketing, retail, B2B, and supply chain. You will become an important part of a smaller team where everyone helps each other out, but where you also have significant individual responsibility and the opportunity to influence the Private Label range, supplier work, working methods, and future business development in the area.

We see this as a future-oriented role where data, AI, and digital tools become a natural part of how we develop better products, make better decisions, and work smarter.

Examples of responsibilities

• Responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and supplier contacts in the Far East.
• Develop and manage Mshop's Private Label range.
• Drive product development from analysis and ideation to launch.
• Identify business opportunities through the analysis of trends, customer needs, and sales data.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and develop long-term supplier partnerships.
• Work with forecasts, range planning, and follow up on production, deliveries, and quality issues.
• Ensure that products meet relevant compliance and documentation requirements.
• Use AI and digital tools for analysis, product development, and streamlining working methods.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have experience in purchasing, sourcing, or product development, preferably within retail, e-commerce, or consumer products. You have worked with suppliers in the Far East and have a good understanding of Private Label or OEM production, long lead times, and international supply chains.

You have strong commercial thinking and understand how factors such as margin, inventory, availability, range development, and product profitability affect the business. You are used to working with data and can translate analysis into concrete commercial proposals and actions.

As a person, you are analytical, structured, curious, and proactive. You thrive in a role where you take responsibility from idea to execution and where you work both strategically and operationally.

We also believe that you are someone who wants to develop working methods, not just manage existing processes. You are comfortable with digital tools and see AI as a natural support in your work – for example, for research, analysis, forecasting, product development, compliance, and efficiency.

Since you work in a smaller team, it is important that you are unpretentious, solution-oriented, and appreciate helping out where needed.

We would like you to have:

• Experience in purchasing or sourcing from the Far East.
• Experience with Private Label or OEM production.
• Experience from retail, e-commerce, or consumer products.
• Strong commercial understanding of margin, inventory, range, and sales data.
• Good analytical skills and experience in making decisions based on data.
• Experience in driving product development projects from idea to launch.
• Good digital understanding and interest in AI, automation, and modern analysis tools.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English.
