Hallstahammar Cultural School addresses all children and young people in the municipality. The children are at the center here. It is their joy, curiosity, and drive that shape and develop our operations. Here, children and young people can choose to play various instruments, dance, take film lessons, and engage in music production. Theater play is our new initiative, with the ambition to eventually establish a theater course operation. At the cultural school, you will meet dedicated and knowledgeable cultural school teachers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will plan and lead the work with 1–3 theater play groups for children aged 6, 7, and 8. The lessons take place on Sundays and last 45 minutes. The focus of the lessons is on basic drama pedagogy exercises with an emphasis on play, cooperation, security, fantasy, and community. The groups will not have any performances or presentations.

NOTE! The position will only become active if we receive a sufficient number of registrations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• We look for you to have a drama pedagogy education or education/experience that the employer considers equivalent.
• You have previous experience working with and handling children aged 6, 7, and 8.
• You are comfortable working with and managing various IT programs.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: The position is filled subject to sufficient registrations.

End date: June 4, 2027
