Do you want to make a real impact and create a difference? Here, you contribute to creating security for people and societies. What you do matters.
Your Role
As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in the development and integration of advanced vehicle systems within the defense industry. You will lead and drive systems engineering work where mechanics, electrical systems, electronics, cabling, signals, and physical interfaces must work together in demanding vehicle environments.
You are responsible for ensuring that technical solutions hold together throughout the entire product lifecycle – from early concepts, requirements, and system architecture to integration, verification, production readiness, and the final product. The role entails clear responsibility for system maturity, technical trade-offs, interfaces, and production prerequisites.
Among other things, you will:
- Lead and drive systems engineering work in complex vehicle platforms.
- Be responsible for requirements breakdown from system level to subsystems and components.
- Ensure that mechanical, electrical, and signal-related interfaces are clear, verifiable, and realizable.
- Drive technical trade-offs related to integration, installation, environmental resilience, and production.
- Support production and industrialization through design reviews and risk management.
- Ensure maturity ahead of technical milestones, verification, and production readiness.
- Act as a technical bridge between development, integration, verification, and production.
You will become part of a business where advanced technology is developed to meet high demands for function, robustness, and reliability. Here, you will use your experience to influence technical decisions, create functional system solutions, and contribute to products that make a real difference.
Your Profile
You are an experienced Systems Engineer with strong technical breadth and a good understanding of physical systems. You have the ability to see the big picture, identify critical interfaces, and drive technical issues forward even when conditions are complex or not fully defined.
You thrive in roles where you can combine technical depth with responsibility, coordination, and practical feasibility.
We see that you, as a candidate, have:
- Extensive experience in systems engineering or system integration in complex technical products
- Experience with vehicle platforms, mechanical integration, electrical systems, electronics, or signal interfaces
- Experience in requirements breakdown, system architecture, and interface management
- Experience in integration and verification in a physical product environment
- Experience working from early development phases to production readiness
- Experience in technical decision-making, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration
- Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS, or similar
We consider it a merit if you have:
- Experience from the defense industry
- Experience with military ground vehicles or other robust vehicle platforms
- Experience with command and control systems, sensors, communication systems, power supply, or signal distribution
- Experience with environmental requirements such as EMC, vibration, temperature, humidity, dust, or salt
- Experience with DFM/DFA, production readiness, assembly, or working together with production engineering and quality
- Formal education or certification in Systems Engineering, such as INCOSE
The position involves work in security-sensitive operations. Security clearance and background checks will be conducted according to current regulations. Swedish citizenship may be a requirement for certain tasks.
