Teacher for Nygårdskolan in Borlänge

Nygårdskolan is a multicultural school for grades F-6 in Borlänge Municipality with approximately 275 students. The school is located in a beautiful environment close to nature. Job Responsibilities

We are looking for you who, together with staff, school leadership, and students, want to drive and develop teaching in grades 4-6.

As a teacher with us, you plan, implement, document, and evaluate teaching based on current regulatory documents and legislation. We work in subject and stage working groups, which means educators have the opportunity to develop together. Participation in collegial discussions and development groups is part of the assignment. We continuously develop our pedagogical activities to ensure high goal achievement among our students.

Mentorship is included in the position.

Qualifications

Basic requirements for the position:

• Teaching certification and eligibility to teach in grades 4-6.
• Very good oral and written skills in Swedish.

You create varied and engaging lessons adapted to the students' needs. You have high expectations and set clear requirements for each student. You contribute to each student's development, providing knowledge, drive, and motivation. You are natural and confident in your ability to build relationships with young people. You treat your surroundings with respect, sensitivity, and curiosity. You are clear in your communication and collaborate with students, colleagues, and guardians.

Meritorious qualifications:

• Eligibility to teach mathematics and Natural Sciences (NO).
• Experience working with multilingual students.
