Fårösundsskolan is a school for grades F-9 and is part of the Northern Gotland school district, along with Solklintsskolan F-9, Lärbro F-6, and Fole F-6. The school is located a stone's throw from the coast in Fårösund. Fårösundsskolan is now looking for two student assistants for close work with younger students. The area is led by a principal and two deputy principals.

At all schools in the area, we work together to ensure that our students receive a good education, where cooperation between different student groups is a way to increase well-being and security at school. Your responsibilities

You work as a student assistant for students with special needs in grades F-3. As a student assistant, you work closely with the student. A large part of the work involves building relationships with the student and creating structures and routines for the student based on needs and interests. Together with teachers, you plan and carry out the student's school day, you participate in teacher-led lessons, and are involved in the student's activities as needed.

Most important for the work with students is your ability to create secure relationships with the student and their guardians. You use your relational competence to create the best conditions for the student to be seen, heard, and met according to their needs at school.

Both positions are fixed-term for one year with the possibility of extension.

Who are you?

We would prefer that you apply as a student assistant with vocational training.

Experience working as a student assistant and meeting children with special needs, or being a trained student assistant, is meritorious.

As a person, you are engaged, flexible, and responsible, and have a solution-oriented and low-affective approach. You must have the ability to collaborate with colleagues at the school.

Great importance is attached to personal suitability.

For one of the positions, the work includes personal care. With regard to the assisted person's integrity, we are therefore looking for a female assistant for this position.
