Job Responsibilities

Persborg Preschool South is looking for a preschool teacher who works on a scientific basis and has good knowledge of the latest research. We are looking for a colleague who has new knowledge within the pedagogical area, with the curriculum's overarching goals and guidelines. We offer a workplace with new ways of working and methods where we work together as a team. We work on developing play and learning environments in the preschool, and we would be happy if you, as a new colleague, contribute your ideas and knowledge regarding exploratory environments where digital learning resources are seen as a complement.

Together with other colleagues, you should have the preschool's value base and view of knowledge in focus. You should be well acquainted with and familiar with the preschool's governing documents. Together with your colleagues, you share the overall responsibility for the children's education, which includes planning, implementation, follow-up, and evaluation of the children's development and learning, as well as the pedagogical operations.

We shape an operation with a project-based approach that starts from the children's interests and curiosity, where all education takes place in a playful manner. You meet every child, guardian, and colleague with respect and humility.

Qualifications

You who apply must have a preschool teacher license. Other persons who hold pedagogical education that the employer deems equivalent may be considered, but then for a fixed-term appointment. For those offered employment with us, it is a statutory requirement to produce an extract from the criminal record.

We see that you, applying for the position of preschool teacher, have good ability to communicate and collaborate with colleagues, children, guardians, and other professions you meet in your work. We actively work with aesthetic learning processes to open up opportunities for children to explore different modes of expression. We would appreciate it if you are creative in your approach and enjoy working with creation.

The use of digital tools is natural in everyday life, both for you and the children, and we therefore assume that you have good digital competence. As you work with pedagogical documentation as a tool to promote and make visible all children's development and learning in pedagogical practice, we assume that you can express yourself well in speech and writing.

It is an advantage if you have previous experience in pedagogical work. Selection takes place continuously.
