Adult Psychiatry Clinic 3 in Lund is a general psychiatric clinic with approximately 25 employees. Here, patients with affective disorders, anxiety conditions, as well as various forms of personality disorders and neuropsychiatric conditions are assessed and treated. The clinic is located in the Psychiatry House on Baravägen, where several different psychiatric specialist clinics and wards are situated. The clinic's catchment area includes the municipalities of Eslöv, Höör, and Hörby.

The clinic is well-staffed, and the teams consist of several doctors, psychologists, nurses, assistant nurses, social workers, rehabilitation coordinators, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and medical secretaries. RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a specialist physician or senior consultant in psychiatry with an interest in working with evidence-based care in a multidisciplinary setting.

As a doctor at the clinic, you are responsible for patient care, perform diagnostics, initiate and evaluate pharmacological treatment, and collaborate with other healthcare providers and units regarding patient treatment and rehabilitation. A central part of the role is psychiatric assessment work based on more complex differential diagnostic questions as well as neuropsychiatry.

We value education and see students and trainee doctors as a vital part of our future competence supply. Therefore, as a specialist physician/senior consultant, you are expected to contribute with supervision. Your employment also includes being on call.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a licensed physician with the right to practice in Swedish healthcare. Additionally, you have specialist competence in psychiatry. Proficiency in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement. You must have completed or planned a course in clinical supervision.

For employment as a senior consultant, you must also have:

• Full-time employment for at least three years (documented effective time)
• Clinical skill and independence within your specialist area
• Defined area of medical responsibility and knowledge
• Documented teaching and supervisory merits.

At a university healthcare unit, physicians are required to have pedagogical experience and education. This can be acquired through supervising, for example, nursing and medical students as well as doctors in training, and as a co-supervisor or principal supervisor of doctoral candidates.
