We are now looking for two operational buyers, one junior and one senior, for a business-critical consulting assignment starting in mid-August. Submit your application today – selections are made on an ongoing basis.
About the role
Our client is an international leading company in elevators, escalators, and mobility solutions. They have recently secured a major contract and now need to strengthen the team with two operational buyers.
The assignment is business-critical and involves ensuring that master data, item registers, and spare parts management meet the requirements set in the contract – this must be in place by December 1, 2026.
You will become an important part of a structured and delivery-focused project where precision and quality are central, and where your work has a direct impact on the business meeting the contract's requirements and goals.
We are looking for both a junior and a more experienced candidate who thrives in an administrative and structured purchasing role.
The workplace is located in Sätra. The assignment runs from August 12 to November 30, with the possibility of extension.
Responsibilities
You will work on ensuring the quality of the company's master data, item registers, and product structures (BOM). The role involves close collaboration with factories, suppliers, and internal key personnel.
- Receive, structure, and quality-assure BOMs from factories.
- Ensure correct linking between BOM and objects.
- Identify and handle incorrect or missing items.
- Create and administer items in business systems.
- Standardize item names and item structures.
- Clean and quality-assure master data (duplicates/errors).
We are looking for you who
- Have a few years of experience in operational purchasing, purchasing administration, or similar tasks.
- Have worked with master data or item registers previously.
- Have good administrative skills and thrive with structured work.
- Have good knowledge of Excel.
- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Ability to independently seek information from suppliers and production.
Meritorious
- Experience with the business system Visma.
- Experience with implementation projects or change processes is a big plus.
- Technical understanding or technical interest.
- Experience from manufacturing or production, preferably with a focus on BOM, product structures, and spare parts management.
