Responsibilities and Duties

As an Installation Manager, you are responsible for the planning, organization, execution, and follow-up of various service jobs on boiler plants throughout Sweden. The work is carried out in close collaboration with a competent and experienced team of project managers, project support, designers, and production staff. You are responsible for the correct preparation and organization of the installation site, coordinate the team, monitor workflows, ensure quality, and ensure that schedules, preliminary estimates, and safety protocols are followed. You have clear responsibility for the working environment at the site and actively work to ensure that work is carried out safely in accordance with current safety requirements, routines, and regulations. Safety is always the top priority in the role, and you are expected to lead by example in daily work. Part of the role also involves conducting inspections at customer facilities. The role does not include direct personnel responsibility as fitters and welders are purchased from foreign and Swedish contracting firms, but in addition to leading their work, you are expected to handle personnel issues that arise on-site. Typically, each installation project takes about 2–3 weeks but varies between 1–4 weeks depending on size. Since customers are located throughout Sweden, travel days are estimated at 50–150 days per year. Residence is flexible within Sweden, but you should expect to be on-site in Norrköping when necessary, e.g., before each new project, etc.

As a person, you are a motivating and engaged team leader with a strong desire to learn new things. You are outgoing and visible, find it easy to collaborate with others, and are direct and clear in your communication. Furthermore, you invest significant time and energy in achieving desired results, plan and organize your work realistically, and seek feedback from customers to improve delivery. You have a strong safety mindset and view working environment as an integral part of successful leadership. You identify risks, act proactively, and take responsibility for creating a safe workplace where everyone follows agreed-upon safety routines.

We will place great emphasis on your personal potential, but there are some specific experiences and skills that we, together with the client, assess as necessary and thus required for the role.

These are:

• High school diploma
• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in power plants, industry, or construction
• Good computer skills
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing
• Good knowledge of English in speech and writing
• Valid driver's license (Category B)
