About the company Derome is Sweden's largest family-owned timber industry and operates throughout the entire chain from forest to finished house. The current offering includes forest processing, production and sales of wood, construction, and industrial products, machinery rental, construction logistics, as well as the development of housing and residential areas.

Your responsibilities In the role of truss builder, you work in a team to manufacture custom-made wooden roof trusses. The work is based on drawings and pre-cut lumber, where you together assemble and press the trusses using nail plates.

Each project is unique, and the work is usually carried out in pairs at each station – something that requires collaboration, precision, and a shared drive forward.

Since you will work closely with each other in production, other tasks may also arise, making flexibility an important part of the role.

Your profile We are looking for someone who enjoys practical work and is meticulous in what they do. You take responsibility for your tasks and are driven to develop in your role. You enjoy working with others and contribute to good teamwork.

You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as some computer skills.

Previous experience from production or the timber industry is a plus, but not a requirement. The most important thing is your attitude, your willingness to learn, and your desire to contribute to the team.

Application process This is a consulting assignment initially for 6 months, with the possibility of extension or direct employment with the client after a period of rental.
