Your future challenge

As a measurement operator in hull production, you play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products. Your task will be to support and assist the employees within production.

In your daily work, you will:

• Create measurement programs and plan measurement operations.
• Perform measurement and control on manufactured articles.
• Create measurement protocols and reports, and assist in interpreting measurement protocols for other departments.
• Gather tools for calibration and perform some self-calibration of measuring equipment in the department.

You will join a department where we currently have 17 people with different tasks within measurement, quality assurance (OFP), and visual inspection in hull manufacturing at BAE Systems Hägglunds in Örnsköldsvik.

The person you are

We are looking for you who have at least a high school education and experience in reading drawings as well as form and position. Professional experience in measurement, control, and calibration is required.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Previous experience with CMM measuring machines.
• Experience with 3D scanners.

You have good IT skills and are fluent in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing – something that is important in our international work environment.

A B driver's license is a requirement, and it is an advantage if you also have a forklift and/or crane license.

As a person, you are meticulous, structured, and responsible – but also solution-oriented and accustomed to collaborating. You have good judgment and an understanding of high quality standards.

We currently work day shifts with flextime. Shift work will become relevant in the future as production volumes increase significantly.
