Your responsibilities

As a nursing assistant with us, you start the day together with your colleagues before heading out to the client's home. We base our work on the approach "Individual Needs in Focus" (IBIC) and are currently working on the project "Hands on the Back," which means that the work should be designed together with the individual, preserving their health.

At our agency, no day is the same, and your assistance varies as we base our work on each individual's needs. You carry out your planned interventions, which include personal hygiene, household chores, and medical interventions. The individual's care needs can vary greatly, ranging from light assistance to more extensive care interventions such as tube feeding, tracheostomy care, and wound dressings.

We have developed different "loops" to create continuity and foster relationship building. This is based on the idea that as a nursing assistant, you are also the contact person for the clients living in "your" loop.

The role of contact person involves participating in welcome conversations where you, together with the individual, plan support measures. You are responsible for implementation plans and document in the system Treserva. You participate continuously in our collaboration meetings where both home healthcare nurses and physio- and occupational therapists participate. Together, you have a dialogue regarding matters concerning your contact persons.

Your workplace

Our operations are centrally located in Linköping, covering the Vasastaden area and nearby addresses. The security housing is located near the travel center, which facilitates commuting by public transport. Parking spaces are also available near the operations.

You will become part of a team consisting of approximately 30 employees. We provide home care services for both residents within the security housing and for individuals in the surrounding area.

In the premises of the operations, there is a meeting point that offers daily activities as well as lunch service. Here, the home healthcare nurses, coordinators, and two operation managers are also located. Physio- and occupational therapists visit one day a week. We are an operation that keenly wants to be at the forefront and continue to develop.

Your working hours are during the day, evenings, and every other weekend.

You who apply

We are looking for you with a completed education as a nursing assistant and consider it meritorious if you are trained as a specialist nursing assistant. For the position, it is a requirement that you have experience working in support, care, and social services, and experience in home care is considered meritorious.

Experience working with cognitive disabilities such as neuropsychiatry or dementia is meritorious. Experience with palliative care, the IBIC approach, and working from a low-affective attitude is also meritorious. We would appreciate if you have knowledge of a salutogenic approach.

Work in elderly care involves many customer contacts and documentation, which means we have a requirement that you can communicate orally and in writing in Swedish. You have the ability to use digital tools in your work, and experience with documenting in medical record systems is meritorious. For the position, you need to be able to cycle.

As a person, you are self-reliant, take responsibility for your tasks, and drive your work forward. You also work well with other people and listen and communicate clearly. It is also important that you have an empathetic ability, meaning you can put yourself in others' perspectives and situations. You adapt easily to changed circumstances and can distinguish between the personal and the professional.
