The administration is responsible for the municipality's elderly care, healthcare, authority exercises, commissioning of services, and provides care and support in its own operations. Your responsibilities

As a physiotherapist, you work with the patient's needs at the center, aiming to enable the individual to live as independently as possible. You are responsible for assessments, personal prescription of assistive devices, and rehabilitation of patients in ordinary housing.

You work both independently and in close collaboration with occupational therapists and other professions, such as nurses and care staff, as well as other actors. The work consists of varied tasks and patient groups, offering opportunities for variety and challenges. The role also includes documentation and administration.

Working hours are during daytime, Monday to Friday.

Your workplace

The work group currently consists of 45 colleagues working in four geographical areas. Together with an occupational therapist, you are responsible for a home healthcare area, where you are also part of the multiprofessional team along with the home care manager and staff. Here, you will find meaningful work and the opportunity to be part of a larger team that promotes knowledge exchange and development.

Your workplace will be located at Ålerydsvägen 7 or Teknikringen 8, Mjärdevi. We are currently reviewing the premises situation to enable co-location in the future.

Who you are

We are looking for you who are a licensed physiotherapist with professional experience. You must have prior experience in rehabilitating the elderly target group and experience with prescribing assistive devices. Previous experience in home rehabilitation is considered an advantage.

The work involves significant patient contact and documentation, requiring good oral and written communication skills in Swedish. You are computer literate and have experience documenting in medical record systems. For this position, you must be able to cycle and hold a B-driver's license for manual transmission, as we cycle and drive cars as part of the job.

You collaborate easily with others and treat people with attentiveness. You communicate clearly and ensure that messages are received. You are confident, self-aware, and capable of acting professionally.
