The primary school/special needs primary school operation is part of the Education Administration. The operation covers 21 primary schools as well as special needs primary school, and the total number of students is approx. 4500. Four of the primary schools are upper secondary schools, while the others, with a few exceptions, cover grades F-6. The operation also includes leisure centers.

Marielund School is a school for everyone as it accommodates from preschool class through grade 9 together with special needs primary school. Marielund School is where students, parents, and staff experience safety, trust, and community. The goal of the operation is that everyone should succeed based on their prerequisites, and the foundation for this is a positive school climate, staff engagement, and pedagogical skill. The school is characterized by very good cohesion, a warm climate, and dedicated teachers where we stand up for each other and help each other so that everyone can reach as far as possible.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a school nurse, you work health-promoting and preventive as part of the school's student health team. You work cross-professionally close to the pedagogical operation and support the students' development towards the goals of education. By keeping an open reception for the students and conducting health-promoting activities at the organizational, group, and individual levels, you actively work to promote their well-being. You work preventively by performing health visits, health checks, and vaccinations. As a school nurse, you document the work in the journal system Prorenata. You work close to the student, guardian, and school staff and participate in the school's systematic quality work. In addition, you collaborate with school nurses and school doctors from other school areas as well as other external actors and are part of the central student health network where regular meetings are held.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with specialist education as a school nurse, district nurse, or child and adolescent nurse.

As a school nurse, you work independently and structured with the student's health in focus. You have a good ability to plan, organize, and prioritize your work and ensure that tasks are carried out and followed up within given timeframes.

You are confident in your profession and make well-founded decisions based on your medical responsibility. You have integrity, are clear in your communication, and can professionally present your assessments while creating trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.

We are looking for you who are flexible and solution-oriented. You have the ability to handle changed prerequisites and meet different situations with calm and professionalism. Through your engagement and initiative, you contribute to developing the student health work and create good prerequisites for the students' health, learning, and development.

Salary: Monthly salary.
