The Social Services Board is responsible for measures, support, and services to individuals and families in the municipality. Our operations are primarily governed by the Social Services Act, the LSS Act (Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), and the Health and Medical Services Act, and are to implement measures regulated by these laws. All operations are characterized by putting the individual at the center to meet the individual's needs. The assignment implies a strong customer focus and service spirit.

The municipal health and medical care in Motala Municipality consists of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, nurses, nursing assistants, and rehabilitation assistants. We work in teams together with elderly care, LSS operations, and day activities for the benefit of our citizens.

Job Description

The assignment implies closeness and continuity with a holistic perspective in patient contact. It is a varied and exciting assignment with good opportunities for personal development. You will make independent assessments and lead and perform health and medical care measures. You will plan actions and conduct follow-ups, handle medications, infusions, and medical technical equipment. You plan the work based on the individual's prerequisites and needs. You are responsible for leading and delegating nursing staff. You work in close collaboration with the unit manager and nursing staff at the residence as well as in contact with relatives. You are an important contact towards primary care and specialist care.

You work daytime on weekdays with duty every 5th weekend.

Qualifications

Formal Competencies:

• Registered Nurse (RN)
• Category B driver's license for car with manual transmission
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both written and oral
• Experience in the nursing profession is meritorious

• Working hours: Daytime weekdays with duty every 5th weekend. Working time standard 38.25 hours/week
