About the Job

The duties for this position include work at both Backa Health Centre and the Child Health Centre (BVC).

The work covers a broad field and includes general medicine, where you meet patients of all ages and situations. You work in a health-promoting, advisory, and therapeutic capacity – both via phone, chat, digital healthcare meetings, home visits, and at the clinic. The work takes place in close, cross-professional teams where you collaborate closely with doctors, assistant nurses, psychologists, rehabilitation staff, and other professional groups. Together, you plan and prioritize work based on patients' needs and the organization's goals.

Your duties at the Child Health Centre are varied, following children with guardians from newborn until school health care takes over. You play a central role in meeting families' needs as well as making medical and nursing assessments and prioritizations. You will, among other things, work with health checks, vaccinations, and parent groups. The patient group is children aged 0–6 years with their families. Collaboration takes place in cross-professional teams at the Child Health Centre, and we have very good and active family-centered cooperation with preventive social workers, preschools, and the Mother and Child Health Centre (BMM).

We see supervising students as a natural and important part of the assignment – we shape tomorrow's colleagues together.

About You

You are a registered nurse with specialist education as a District Nurse, and you want to work in an organization where security, professionalism, and development go hand in hand. Perhaps you have experience from primary care, or you are new to the profession and looking for a place where you can grow with the support of experienced colleagues.

We are looking for someone who:

It is meritorious if you have experience from primary care as well as work with children and young people. Supervisor training (7.5 credits) is also meritorious.

About the Recruitment Process

Selection takes place in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department, who call current candidates for a telephone interview. The recruiting manager then makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them to an interview at the health centre.
