The Welfare Sector consists of four operations: disability services, home care and home healthcare, individual and family care, and care and nursing homes. Home care and home healthcare are responsible for interventions according to the Social Services Act and the Health and Medical Services Act. We operate throughout the municipality and are responsible for authority exercises, home healthcare, home care, and short-term operations. Our mission is to provide support and help to those who find it difficult to manage daily life, as well as to provide good and quality-assured home healthcare.

We are now looking for a nurse who, together with colleagues, is responsible for patients within the disability and social psychiatry operations. Here, you are offered varied work with the opportunity to influence the operations, your working day, and your schedule. When you start, we will agree on a suitable introduction program based on your experience and prior knowledge. Working hours are primarily during the day, but evenings and weekends are also included.

Job Responsibilities

We are a small and well-knit team working with patients within LSS (Act for Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) and social psychiatry. Our goal is to offer high-quality person-centered care and support to people with different needs. We are now looking for a nurse who wants to make a difference for our patients who live in the municipality's service and group apartments as well as in ordinary housing. These are patients with functional variations, psychiatric, and somatic diagnoses.

You will have patient responsibility for patients within the disability and social psychiatry operations and work in a team together with rehabilitation staff, care staff, and housing support. As a responsible nurse, you work preventively to promote patients' health and well-being. You work with the patient in focus, assess, plan, and intervene in physical and mental health problems. An important part is quality development and collaboration with other professional groups, partners, and colleagues.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse and would preferably have specialist training in outpatient healthcare and/or social psychiatry.

Work experience from municipal home healthcare is meritorious for the position, and a B-driver's license is a requirement as a car is used as a means of transport in the work.
