About the Job
Your tasks involve assessing and treating patients of all ages. Common conditions among the patients you meet as an occupational therapist include: reduced hand function, pain, neurology, cognitive impairment, and mental ill health. The work also includes prescribing assistive devices and certificates for housing adaptations. Together with the patient, a personal rehabilitation plan is created.
The work is located at the clinic, digitally, and via home visits. Some work can be done remotely. Patient treatment takes place both individually and in groups.
The work involves close collaboration with other professions, both at your own clinic and with other partners. You and your colleagues, together with the manager, are responsible for the development of the operations in a continuous improvement process.
About You
You are a licensed occupational therapist. Previous experience in the profession and primary care is meritorious, but we also welcome newly graduated candidates.
If you have supervisor training and/or advanced/upper secondary education, courses, or knowledge in other areas, this is also meritorious.
We are looking for someone who is receptive, has good communication skills, and can identify individuals' unique needs when meeting many different people. Furthermore, you see collaboration with colleagues and other partners as a natural and important part of the work, which you perform with engagement and professionalism. You can plan your work in an efficient and organized manner based on the operations' goals. Since the workload varies and unforeseen events may occur, we see that you are flexible and independent.
You place great importance on good treatment and always strive to treat customers, patients, and colleagues with respect and care. We also expect you to live up to Närhälsan's core values: Reliable, Caring, and Innovative.

About the Recruitment Process
Selection takes place in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who invite candidates to a phone interview. Thereafter, the hiring manager makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them to an interview at the clinic.
We use competency-based interviews, which means that answers to questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalized answers – this is so that we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the result was.
