About the Role

We are currently recruiting, on behalf of one of our clients, a Payroll Administrator for their operations in Uppsala. This is a role for you who are meticulous, structured, and thrive working with numbers, administration, and customer service.

As a Payroll Administrator, you will play a key role in the business, responsible for ensuring that payroll processing is accurate, efficient, and compliant with current laws, regulations, and collective agreements.

Responsibilities

The tasks may vary, but include among other things:

• Processing payroll for both salaried employees and unionized staff
• Registering and verifying time reports, absence, and other payroll documents
• Administration of vacation, sick leave, and other HR-related tasks
• Ensuring salaries are paid correctly and on time
• Handling employer certificates and other personnel administrative documents
• Providing support and advice to managers and employees regarding payroll matters
• Contributing to the development and efficiency of payroll processes

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has education in payroll, economics, administration, or equivalent
• Is meticulous, structured, and quality-conscious
• Has strong administrative skills and is comfortable with various systems
• Thrives working independently and taking ownership
• Has good communication skills and a service-oriented approach

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in payroll administration
• Knowledge of labor law and collective agreements
• Experience with payroll and HR systems
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Experience in personnel administration
