Medical Services Area
Welcome to Enköping Hospital – big care in a small format!
About 700 dedicated colleagues work here in an environment where close collaboration and community are second nature. We are located in an expanding region with convenient commuting options to Stockholm, Uppsala, and Västerås. For those considering moving to live close to work, the Enköping region has much to offer. The hospital provides emergency and planned care for approximately 72,000 residents in Enköping, Håbo, and Södra Heby, and we also have specialist responsibilities throughout Uppsala County. Here, you can make a difference – for the patients and for the operations – in a work environment where we continuously develop together. Do you want to become part of our team? You are warmly welcome to Enköping Hospital!
Our Operations
The Medical Services Area (VOM) consists of an Intermediate Care Unit (IMA), three care wards (one of which is hospital-linked home care), a medical clinic, a dermatology clinic, a hospital-wide rehabilitation unit, and a gastroenterology clinic.
Your Role
As Quality Coordinator at VOM, your task is to contribute to strengthening quality work at VOM and the hospital in close collaboration with staff and management. In return, we offer meaningful and developing tasks, knowledgeable and engaged colleagues, and the opportunity to influence your work. In your daily work, you handle various quality registers and indicators, participate in meeting forums where reporting and presentation occur, and assist in various network meetings. You actively work on developing routines and policy documents.
The second part of your role is as Education Coordinator for the healthcare professions' education programs (doctors, nurses, assistant nurses, specialist training, secondary positions, and internationally trained professionals) centrally for the Hospital, with a regional assignment to sit on the Region's Education Council.
As Education Coordinator for the Hospital, you will be the central contact person for the Hospital towards the Region's Education Council, Uppsala University, the ST-unit, and the AT/BT-unit. You will also work closely with EKP (Unit for Clinical Placements). You will be part of the Region's Education Leadership Group (ULG). The working group works strategically and prepares meetings for the Region's Education Council. At Enköping Hospital, you work to help operations coordinate and conduct professional education in collaboration with partners.
Your Qualifications and Competence
We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with experience/training and competence from quality work. You are flexible and engaged, have an easy time collaborating, and have a positive outlook that promotes development and education. You have the ability for direct and open communication. You should have a careful and structured way of working, both independently and in a team. Previous experience of working with/for education is meritorious, as it provides a better understanding of how to address both healthcare challenges and university requirements.
We are looking for you who are coordinating, structured, and solution-oriented. You have the ability to create good collaboration between different operations and serve as a natural contact point in matters requiring coordination and follow-up.
The role requires a good understanding of the operations' assignments and conditions, as well as the ability to act professionally, neutrally, and constructively in dialogue with the university and the region.
We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
We Offer
A permanent position with start date as agreed. The position is 90% daytime Monday-Friday, with the possibility of 100% through an additional 10% assignment at one of our other units within VOM. During the vacation period, you work clinically at your full employment percentage. The position includes 50% as Quality Coordinator at the Medical Services Area (VOM) and 40% as Education Coordinator for Enköping Hospital.
Interviews will take place at the end of August.
At our workplace, you receive benefits that make a difference. Read about the benefits here (https://regionuppsala.se/formaner/ (https://regionuppsala.se/formaner/)).
