Your Responsibilities

As a Sous Chef, you play a key role in the kitchen's daily operations and serve as an important link between the Head Chef and the rest of the kitchen staff. You are responsible for planning, leading, and distributing work during both preparation and service to ensure our quality standards are maintained. Your tasks include handling orders, deliveries, and inventory, as well as supporting the Head Chef in work structure and operations.

To succeed in the role of Sous Chef, you should have experience with à la carte and/or buffet operations. You will work closely with the Head Chef and act as a support and sounding board, especially regarding inventory, orders, and deliveries. Working hours may vary and include both day and evening shifts as well as weekends.

In Branäs, there are three different restaurant kitchens, and depending on your role, the position may vary:

  • Sous Chef Brants – Lunch focus
  • Sous Chef Brants – À la carte focus
  • Sous Chef Ladan
  • Sous Chef Loftet

You are efficient and structured, quick and solution-oriented with a passion for the profession. Requirements

  • Experience as a cook in à la carte and/or buffet operations.
  • You should be comfortable with the English and/or Swedish language.

Merits

  • Driver's license and access to a car.

This is a seasonal employment from December to April, and the position is covered by the HRF collective agreement. Branäs collaborates with Ljung & Sjöberg to counteract alcohol, drug, and gambling issues and is a certified Proactive workplace in this regard.
