About the Job
This is a chef position at a family-owned restaurant specializing in salads, pizza, pasta, and grilled dishes, located in Kil, Sweden. You will enhance our kitchen's menu and cooking quality with your knowledge of Middle Eastern, Turkish, and Persian cuisine.
Responsibilities
You will contribute to the kitchen with your expertise, prepare ingredients, bake pizza from scratch, cook pasta, and demonstrate strong proficiency in Turkish and Persian dishes. You are also responsible for maintaining high hygiene standards and orderliness at all stations in the restaurant where you work.
Working hours are varied, including day, evening, and weekend shifts within the framework of the Working Hours Act.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Experience as a chef in a similar establishment for at least 3 years.
- Strong interest in pasta, pizza, and Middle Eastern cuisine.
- Ability to work at a fast pace.
- Excellent teamwork skills.
Preferred:
- Previous experience working as a chef in a Middle Eastern kitchen for several years.
Personal Attributes
We are looking for someone who is responsible, flexible, and self-motivated with strong teamwork skills. You must be able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team, while remaining calm under pressure.
