We are now looking for an engaged chef for Molkoms Folkhögskola, a place where meals are an important part of school life and where all staff members contribute to the students' learning and well-being.

We are a creative educational environment with strong connections to an international market. Our students are prepared for further studies and professional life – both in Sweden and globally. The operations are characterized by closeness, professionalism, and an inclusive approach, where you become an important part of creating a welcoming and safe study and living environment.

As a chef with us, you will have a varied job where you, together with your colleagues, are responsible for the entire dining experience. We are a team of four people who work closely together and help each other where needed. We cook from scratch with sustainability in focus.

Your responsibilities

With us, you will work with varied tasks including, among other things:

• Cooking good and nutritious food from scratch
• Planning menus and contributing new ideas
• Working with vegetarian and sustainable cooking
• Meeting students and guests in daily operations
• Participating in serving, self-control, and other kitchen tasks
• Being involved in evening events, conferences, and special occasions

Your knowledge and competencies

We are looking for you who:

• are a trained chef with a few years of experience
• are interested in sustainable cooking and preferably vegetarian cuisine
• are service-oriented and solution-focused
• enjoy working in a team and contributing to a positive work environment
• like meeting people and building good relationships
• have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as you work with customer/guest contact
• have a valid driver's license (Category B)

Good conversational English is an advantage.
