About the Role

Would you like to become our new colleague? We are now looking for two licensed nurses who want to become part of our dedicated department to help improve the quality of life for our patients.

At Oncology Ward 27B, we make a difference every day! We are an engaged and knowledgeable team working to provide high-quality care to patients with cancer. Our focus is on security, symptom relief, and support for both patients and relatives. The work on our ward is meaningful and developmental, yet challenging and emotionally demanding. The workplace is characterized by a good atmosphere, which we value as crucial for being able to provide our patients with the best possible care while taking care of ourselves. The positions are permanent full-time roles during day, evening, or night shifts, with start dates as agreed.

Responsibilities

As a nurse on our oncology ward, you will:

• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with current guidelines.
• Work with symptom relief and supportive care for patients in different stages of their cancer disease.
• Meet patients in various stages of their cancer journey, i.e., with curative intent, in the palliative phase, and also at the end of life.
• Collaborate with doctors, assistant nurses, and other professions in a multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain close collaboration with patients and their relatives to create security and understanding regarding the care plan.
• Participate in development work and contribute to improving care on the ward.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Are a licensed nurse.

It is an advantage if you:

• Have further education as an oncology nurse.
• Have work experience from cancer care.
• Have work experience from other healthcare specialties.
