About the operations

County Psychiatry and Habilitation coordinates the county healthcare for adult psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry as well as habilitation in Region Västernorrland. The county healthcare operations are conducted at three hospitals, Sundsvall, Sollefteå and Örnsköldsvik, and at a number of clinics located in several places in the county. The area has approximately 700 employees. Habilitation in Västernorrland is a county-wide operation with approximately 100 employees located in Sollefteå, Sundsvall and Örnsköldsvik.

The target group for habilitation is people with permanent disabilities, where the largest groups are autism, developmental disability and cerebral palsy. We work in child/adolescent/adult teams with an interdisciplinary focus representing medical, psychological and social orientation. The different professional categories represented in the teams are occupational therapist, social worker, speech therapist, doctor, medical secretary, psychologist, physiotherapist and nurse. We offer a good working environment with varied work and good development opportunities, a wellness hour as well as an individually adapted introduction.

We are now looking for a physiotherapist for the youth/adult habilitation in Sundsvall. The position is a full-time temporary assignment with start date as agreed and for 12 months forward, with possible extension.

Job responsibilities

In your role as a physiotherapist with us, you will mainly work with young people and adults with movement disabilities. The work includes among other things:

• Conducting assessments
• Performing treatments
• Fitting of assistive devices
• Follow-ups
• Providing information, advice, supervision
• Participating in collaboration and training for networks and staff

Qualifications

We are looking for you who

• Are a licensed physiotherapist
• Have a B-driver's license
