MAVA Cardiac Department in Örnsköldsvik is part of Närsjukvård Norra. The department focuses on cardiology and medical emergency care. We highly value developing our operations, patient safety, competence development, and working environment.

We are now looking for two licensed nurses to join our team! Whether you are an experienced nurse or new to the profession, you can contribute to our team. When you start with us, you will receive a thorough and extended orientation. We have a well-developed mentorship program on the ward where you are offered personal support and learning from an experienced nurse. There is a supervising nurse on the ward whose main task is to support and guide staff daily in all situations that arise, big or small.

We offer newly hired nurses the opportunity to participate in the development year for new nurses, where you will receive training throughout the year and meet other new colleagues. There is also the possibility for competence development in both cardiology and the department's other special areas, such as telemetry interpretation, training, etc. If you have a CSN loan, you may also have the opportunity to repay the loan with 2000 SEK over 24 months. We offer individual preference schedules with great flexibility and the possibility of reduced working hours. We have individual salary setting as well as a competence ladder with financial compensation.

The positions are permanent full-time roles with temporary placement at the MAVA Cardiac Department. Start date by agreement.

As a nurse with us, you work in a team together with assistant nurses and doctors. You are responsible for:

• Patient care
• Monitoring vital parameters
• Medication management
• Implementation of prescribed treatment

The tasks vary depending on the patients' needs. On the ward, we treat patients with ischemic heart disease, arrhythmias, heart failure, as well as internal medicine patients with conditions such as COPD, diabetes, or acute infections.
