About the Department

The Orthopedic Clinic in Sundsvall is a clinic with approximately 24 permanent physicians. The clinic operates within orthopedics and consists of one inpatient ward, outpatient and surgical operations, as well as staffing emergency lines at the orthopedic emergency department. The hospital and clinic are characterized by short decision-making paths, a high degree of personal responsibility, but also good collegial support.

We are now looking for two resident doctors (underläkare) to the Orthopedic Clinic in Sundsvall. The positions are fixed-term full-time appointments, up to 6 months, with start dates in autumn 2026 or as agreed.

Job Responsibilities

The main responsibilities as a resident doctor involve work on the inpatient ward. If you are a licensed resident doctor or receive news about your internship (AT) during the employment period, training can take place at the emergency department, in which case work may also occur during on-call hours.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who

• Have completed term 10 of the medical program or are a licensed physician
• Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you

• Have experience working as a resident doctor
• Have work experience from healthcare
