About the role

On the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), we care for patients with failure of vital functions. We are approximately 35 employees on our unit. We work in teams around the critically ill patient, where everyone has an important role to play. There is constant development within intensive care, and advanced medical technology is a stimulating factor in our daily work.

We are now looking for a Nursing Assistant to the Intensive Care Unit in Örnsköldsvik. The position is a full-time temporary assignment, with immediate start until 2027-09-14.

Responsibilities

Standard nursing assistant duties within emergency care. The nursing assistant, together with the rest of the team, is responsible for providing good care to the critically ill patient. Some aspects of the care include:

• Monitoring
• Sampling and catheterization
• Preparing equipment
• Observing the patient's condition

Working on the Intensive Care Unit requires thorough training, which will be offered based on a structured approach.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who

• Are trained as a Nursing Assistant
• Are available to work irregular hours, including days, evenings, and nights

It is an advantage if you

• Have education in intensive care or emergency care
• Have experience working in a hospital
