About the Role

The Forensic Psychiatry Regional Clinic is today one of the country's largest operations for care under the Act on Forensic Psychiatric Care, and the clinic is currently in an exciting expansion phase. There are 137 care beds distributed across ten wards, and in March, all care wards will be gathered in completely new modern premises in Nacksta.

We are now looking for a nurse/aide to join our team! The position is a 6-month full-time temporary assignment, starting 2026-09-01.

Responsibilities

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for the patient's daily needs for forensic psychiatric nursing.

Your tasks will include, among other things:

• Planning, implementing, and following up on care and nursing interventions
• Accompanying patients during outdoor activities
• Social activation
• Supporting patients in daily activities
• Contributing to the ward's ongoing operations as part of a health-promoting context.
• Cleaning, handling administrative tasks, preparing meals, and other practical tasks performed together with colleagues.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who

• Are a trained nurse or assistant nurse with professional certification, have other education deemed relevant for the position, or have experience working in forensic psychiatry or criminal care
• Have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing

It is meritorious if you

• Have further education in psychiatry
• Have experience working in psychiatry/care or other professions that can be considered to contribute relevant experience to the current area of operation
• Have additional language skills
• Have very good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing
