Nurse for Eye Clinic in Lycksele

We are currently looking for a Nurse for our operations on a fixed-term contract that may lead to permanent employment.

About the Department

The Eye Clinic in Lycksele is part of the Eye Clinic Västerbotten, which provides specialist care for eye diseases in Västerbotten and the northern region. We offer independent, varied, and challenging work where you have the opportunity to learn new things every day, always with the patient in focus.

Your Responsibilities

As a nurse with us, you contribute knowledge and engagement that make people feel safe. The work is partly independent, while you are part of a team in a unit with high competence and in a high-tech environment.

Your main tasks include:

• Performing eye examinations using medical technology equipment.
• Preparing patients for doctor visits and surgeries.
• Conducting various examinations to assess visual acuity.
• Providing advice to patients via telephone.

The work takes place during daytime hours, meaning you will be free in the evenings and on weekends. We will develop an individual introduction plan together with you to ensure you have a secure start and good opportunities to learn the job.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse. Experience in eye care or clinic work is advantageous.

We see you as a positive person with an open attitude, which contributes to a good atmosphere at the workplace and makes the patient feel safe. Since teamwork is an important part of your role, you have good collaboration skills.
