Your assignment

As a procurement specialist at the Municipal Executive Office, you ensure that procurements are carried out professionally and in accordance with current laws, regulations, and policies. You independently drive both municipality-wide and operation-specific procurements of goods and services in close collaboration with the operations and colleagues in the unit.

• Project manage and execute procurements of goods and services
• Take responsibility for the entire process from needs and market analysis to contract
• Implement, manage, and follow up on contracts in active dialogue with suppliers
• Follow up on the effects of procurements, such as cost, quality, and delivery
• Support and train operations on how to use contracts

Your experience

You are confident in the procurement role and accustomed to driving processes independently. You have a good understanding of the business, the regulations, and how to balance the operations' needs with market conditions.

• At least three years of experience as a procurement specialist
• At least two years of experience in public procurement according to LOU (Public Procurement Act)
• Accustomed to driving procurements from needs analysis to contract and follow-up
• Academic education in areas such as economics, law, purchasing, or procurement, or equivalent experience
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing

Meritorious:

• Experience in contract management and contract follow-up
• Experience in IT procurements

Salary between 42,000 and 55,000 SEK depending on experience and responsibility. The final salary is determined individually and is based on a holistic assessment of your educational background, previous experience, and the area you have worked in previously.
