Are you a practical problem solver with a strong technical interest and experience in mechanical maintenance? Our client Paxxo in Malmö is looking for a Service Technician. You will have a key role where you are responsible for ongoing service, troubleshooting, and repairs of production machines in a rotating 3-shift schedule. We are looking for you who have a good understanding of mechanics, basic electrical knowledge, and who thrive working both independently and in a team.

As a person, you are a calm and methodical problem solver who maintains focus even under pressure. You take great personal responsibility for your routines, but at the same time have very good collaboration skills and a curiosity to develop technically further. You should enjoy working independently, taking responsibility, and adhering to agreed times and routines. PAXXO has a self-developed machine park optimized to manufacture the company's unique products. As a service technician, you will get a broad and exciting role where your main responsibility will be to ensure that production flows optimally. Together with the rest of the service team, you work with everything from emergency service to scheduled maintenance on our production equipment. The role also includes ordering spare parts and other consumables. The position is based on a 3-shift system with rotation between one week mornings, one week afternoons, and one week nights. On-call duty may be included later, approximately one weekend per month.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing service, troubleshooting, and repairs on production machines.
• Replace sensors, simpler components, and handle basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Perform mechanical repairs during downtime.
• Document performed work in the maintenance system (IDUS – can be learned on site).
• Collaborate with operators, production, and the rest of the maintenance team.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license (Category B).
• Experience as a service technician, maintenance technician, industrial mechanic, or similar.
• Good understanding of mechanics and strong ability to troubleshoot mechanical problems.
• Basic knowledge in electricity, ability to read simple electrical diagrams, replace sensors, and troubleshoot simple faults.
• Knowledge of pneumatics.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and simpler technical documentation.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both orally and in writing, so that instructions, drawings, and safety routines can be understood and documented correctly.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in maintenance systems.
• Experience from manufacturing or plastic industry, packaging machines, or process technology.
• Experience with Lean or work based on continuous improvements (5S, Kaizen, etc.).
• Experience with machine installations or relocation of production lines.
